Western Reserve’s Allison named offensive POY in D-VII

COLUMBUS - Western Reserve quarterback Nick Allison, who helped lead the Blue Devils to a Division VII state semifinal, was named one of the offensive players of the year.

Also making the first team in Division VII was teammate Dan Zilke at linebacker.

Chalker's Brendan Baugher made second team linebacker, while Youngstown Christian's Tymere Dubose was named second-team lineman and teammate Darien Townsend was a second-team offensive end.

John F. Kennedy quarterback Michael Roscoe was on third-team offense, along with Western Reserve end Joe Falasca and Blue Devil lineman Hunter Powell.

On third-team defense was Mathews' Mason Barr, Mineral Ridge's Josh Goss and Lowellville's Jesse Terwilliger.

South Range's Joe Alessi was on first-team offense in Division VI, while teammate Bully Goodall was on defense.

McDonald's Carson Williams made second-team offense with South Range's Garrett Sorley and Jackson-Milton's Jeremy Fitzpatrick. Meanwhile, Springfield's Mark Schuler made second-team defense.

Finally, Brookfield's Joey Clark was on third-team offense.
