EAST CLEVELAND - For his birthday, the Warren G. Harding Raiders knew exactly what they wanted to get coach Steve Arnold.

Fifty points, for the 50th birthday, and of course a victory.

The Raiders did just that as they handled Shaw, 50-16, on Arnold's special day.

Keemari Murry helped start the celebration with a 67-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The score was his first of two on the night to accompany his 172 yards rushing. John Coleman added another score in the first.

Lamar Carmichael, finally back and healthy from a foot injury suffered at the beginning of the season, was a perfect 9 of 9 on the night for 169 yards and two passing touchdowns - one to Nate Walls for 13 yards and another to Marcus Boomer for 26. He also ran for a touchdown.

Kane Murray, who rushed for 58 yards, added the final touchdown for the Raiders.

Offensively, the Raiders had a quality night on the ground and in the air. Harding tallied 443 yards of total offense, 265 of them coming on the ground.

Harding, which now improves to 4-2 on the season and 3-0 in the North Coast League, will return home next week to face Euclid.
