The Warriors, which travels to Conneaut on Friday, have 14.4163 points, according to the Ohio High School Athletic Association football playoff ratings released Tuesday.
Streetsboro (5-2) is second with 10.75 points. Liberty (5-2) is seventh, while Cardinal (5-2) is 11th.
Meanwhile, Ursuline at Kirtland in the first week of the playoffs would be one for the ages.
During Ursuline's first of three Division V state championships, the Irish faced Kirtland and snuck by with an 18-17 victory in the Region 17 final at Mollenkopf Stadium during the 2008 season.
If the season ended today, that first-round matchup would be a reality.

COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its weekly football computer ratings Tuesday, Oct. 9. The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report released on Sunday, Oct. 28. The top eight teams in each region will qualify for the regional quarterfinals.

Ursuline got in the top eight in the region after soundly beating Steubenville last week - ending a three-game losing streak.
After Week 10, the top four teams in each region host the next four in the first round of the playoffs - Week 11.
Campbell (4-3) in ninth in Region 17, while South Range (5-2) is 11th.
In Division I, Region 1, Austintown Fitch (6-1) is sixth, while Warren G. Harding (6-1) is seventh.
Harding hosts No. 8 Cleveland Heights (6-1) this Friday in a pivotal playoff matchup for both teams.
Harding, which is looking to turn around a 2-8 season, is looking to get back to the playoffs since being eliminated in the first round of the 2010 playoffs.
Boardman (4-3) is 12th.
In Division II, Region 5, Howland (6-1) is seventh.
The Tigers could gain more ground in the region by beating Niles (6-1) this week at Richard Lombardo Stadium.
The Red Dragons are third in Division III, Region 9. Jefferson (5-2) is eighth, while Hubbard (5-2) is ninth and Southeast (5-2) in 11th.
Struthers (4-3) is eighth in Region 11.
John F. Kennedy (6-1) is fourth in Division VI, Region 21, while Youngstown Christian (5-1) is sixth.
Western Reserve (5-2) is eighth.
